Jaxx stop Biscuits' winning streak in 10, 6-5
West Tenn scores four unanswered in late-inning comeback

MONTGOMERY
- The Montgomery Biscuits (25-17) loss to the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx (17-25) Sunday night at Riverwalk Stadium was the team's first in 11 games.
The Jaxx snapped the Biscuits ten game winning streak by scoring four times in four innings against the Montgomery bullpen, after being down 5-2.
West Tenn struck first against Biscuits starter Jeremy Hellickson, scoring two runs in the first two innings. Johan Limonta hit a solo blast to right field, the 11th Hellickson has given up in eight AA starts, making the score 2-0.
Hellickson faced one more than the minimum the rest of the way and left the game after six innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out six.
The beef of the Biscuits order got to Jaxx starter Gaby Hernandez in both the third and fifth innings. Gaby Martinez and Chris Nowak mashed back-to-back home runs in the third and then Nowak started a two-out rally with a double in the fifth. Rhyne Hughes knocked in Nowak before the Biscuits closed the inning with a three run lead, 5-2.
Nowak finished the game a triple short of the cycle, while scoring two runs.
Eddie Morlan, Roger Deago, Colter Bean and Neal Frontz all struggled out of the pen for Montgomery, as the Jaxx tied the game with three runs in the seventh and eigth frames.
The Biscuits had multiple opportunites to retake the lead, including back-to-back strike outs from Martinez and Nowak that killed a bases loaded rally with one out in the eighth.
West Tenn eventually scored the winning run in the tenth inning, after Johan Limonta singled, driving in the game's winning run.off of Bean. Limonta finshed the night 3-for-5 with three RBIs.
Monday night the Biscuits will try to start a new winning streak behind left hander Jino Gonzalez in the decisive game four of a five game set.
