Dear Educators:
Here is specific event information for Grand Slam School Day!
- Game Times - Grand Slam School Day games start promptly at 10:35 a.m. If your students are participating in any pre-game events including: anthems, first pitches, parades or Junior Press, your sales representative will work with you to coordinate an early arrival time, usually one hour prior.
- Ticket Prices - Super Box seats (theater style chair with back and arm rests) $11.00, Box seats $9.00, Lawn seats $7.00–we've kept our 2009 prices just for schools! No payment is needed to reserve tickets, we'll hold the seats you think you'll need now and you won't need to pay until 45 days before the game.
- Teacher Tickets -In recognition of all the work teachers do each year, the Biscuits are proud to provide two complimentary tickets per school for registered teacher as a way to say "Thanks"!
- Scholarship Tickets - In the event that a teacher has specific students in need of assistance, Biscuits Charities does offer scholarship funds to pay for the event.
- Event Promotion - We do it all! You tell us who you want ticket ordering options and other information to go to and we will get it done. The Biscuits offer a wide variety of promotional tools and organizational tools to help customize your event for your grade, your parents or your entire school.
- T-Shirts - Your school can order customized t-shirts for every member of your group for just $8.50 per shirt, with a minimum of 20 shirts. Shirts are printed with both a limited Biscuits logo on the back and your one color school logo on front. Ask your sales representative for details and samples.
- Food - Tuesdays are Dollar Dog Tuesday, including Grand Slam School Days. Students, faculty and staff can enjoy $1.00 hot dogs all game. A special GSSD Value Meal (Kids Dog, apple juice and bag of chips) has been added to our concessions stands at only $4.00. Students can go to any stand and ask for this meal and make their dollars go farther and eat hearty. Let's face it, we know kids love to eat and this is the day they will want to eat a lot. However, this value meal option will give them smart choices to chose from.
For teachers of Kindergarten or 1st grade who do not want young students to go to concession stands alone - please see your sales rep who can arrange for a pre-paid order of value meals to be brought to your seats at a designated time.
For kids on free and reduced lunch programs please see your sales rep who can make special arrangements for you to bring in these authorized meals and allow your students to eat inside the park in a designated area.
- Biscuit Bucks are always a nice way to treat the kids to food. If your school or PTA/PTO organization wants kids to receive a gift this fun money can be pre-purchased in $1 and $5 increments. (Biscuits Bucks are the voucher currency that can be used food, retail items or additional tickets at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium.)
Food may not be brought into Riverwalk Stadium due to Southern League Rules and will be strictly enforced.
- Junior Press - Junior Press is a program that promotes journalism and encourages students to learn about this profession. Participating schools are allowed to invite two students to receive this honor! More info >>
